We had an absolutely tea-riffic time at the San Francisco International Tea Festival! This year was our first time attending as a vendor and the wonderful reception we received from so many of you made us wish there was a festival every weekend.
The tea festival was on its fourth year and was already twice as large as last year, with two thousand sold out tickets! No wonder the line was consistently out the door of Fort Mason throughout the day.
The crowd did hamper our ability to get pictures, but you won't hear us complaining though; this meant we always had great people visiting our booth. We even had Kickstarter backers from our original campaign come say hi! This was our very first appearance in public after our two Kickstarters and it was so fun to see that our teas were popular with even the most passionate tea lovers. In fact, we think we might have met some of our biggest fans there. We hope we'll see them next year as we're most certainly coming back to the event. Rumors say it will be even bigger next time! For now, here are some pictures from the event.
Every attendee got a great goodie bag. We can 100% say this bag is worth it for the entry price alone; filled with samples, coupons and surprises! During the event there was even raffles on the tickets (announced by one of our very own backers!).
Inside the goodie bag you also find the collectible SFITF sampling cup. You bring it around to each booth and get a taste of what they have to offer. We had our Don QuixoTea: Man of La ManChai available for everyone to try and were thrilled to see the blend be as popular as the bookish tea tin it comes in.
It's not all loose leaf tea and bags, however. You'll also find chocolates, ginger ale, and a few exotic ways to enjoy tea. Like these tea drops! Organic pressed teas that dissolve in your cup.
Never a quiet moment. Just the way we like it.
Beautiful Harney and Sons Tea Tins.
Hollie's Homegrown Tea was another local brand at the festival.
Silk Road Teas always have the most beautiful displays.
Red Circle Tea is another local brand. We recommend their oolong tea! We got oolong famously with their staff as well!
Red Espresso: caffeeine-free roobios tea!
Ahmad Tea was there. We really like their logo!
It's the Novelteas tea-m!
We can't wait to be back next year! In the meantime; follow us on Instagram to see what we're up to!
